Twisp Weekend Encampment I

The club plans to stage three encampments this year at Twisp. It is a great location for mountain soaring and the locals are very friendly. If you plan to come please send me an email at hsendelbach@gmail.com. There are at least two lodging options, tent camping on the grass of the airport, or staying at a local motel in Twisp or Winthrop. Near the airport there is a grocery store and a place where you can buy a shower for $5 (clean towel included). A local briefing can be found on the airports page for Twisp. -Hans

Due to planned construction and repaving of the runway, this encampment is cancelled. The Twisp folks are hoping for a mid-August reopening.
