November 14, 2009 Annual Meeting Minutes

Minutes October Accept Christopher Young and Nels Peterson as new members; golf cart repairs; plan annual meeting; providing tows to CAP.

Minutes September Accept Mason Killebrew and CAP cadets Tristan Slezak and Mithchell Halliday as new members; Stan Kasprzyk is developing a new training syallabus; Roger Axelson has developed a WIng Runner Manual.

Minutes July Board meeting was cancelled - no minutes.

Minutes June Ariel Szafir and Mike Dageenakis accepted as new members; Stan Kasprzyk approved as new Chief CFIG and Safety Officer; Gary Paulin delivered the wreckage of N48029 to Ron Piercy; Noel dontaed a PC to ES, along with a copy of Condor; CAP will be bringing ther L-23 to KAWO; Victor Andrucson was voted as active member via e-mail.

Minutes May Mike Deever accepted as new member; Tows up 50% over lastt year; Noel Wade just earned his Silver C in Ehprata; New L-33 is out of the box and tied down; Airport Operation Meeting report from Chris Murray; discussion of contests for 2009; Brian Hood, Dan Teifke and Marty G. have formed an ad hoc financial steering committee.

Minutes March (6 hour board meeting) Ben Person accepted as new member; Ryan Gingles resingation accepted; plan for encampment and Region-8 fun contest; discussion of fees; changed non-member fee from $7.00/day to $20.00/tow.

Minutes February Hans Sendelbach accepted as new member; Ted Goble returned to active status; board approved assisting CFIG's with $500 to cover costs; tow rate increase went into affect; Bruce Bulloch introduced the idea of a club contest.

Minutes January No new member applicants; Bob Wander Safety Seminar announced; paint job on second L-23 should be completed soon; board votes to sell the electric golf cart at the first opportunity; plan for encampment and Region-8 fun contest; demo ride fee raised to $100 per flight; board approved motion to give the Presdent power to add/remove people from the No-Fly List.
